Hacienda Jacarandas is located to 3 Km from Talpa downtown in direction of the Talpa´s river.

Talpa de Alllende is located about halfway between Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta in the state of Jalisco. The higway from Guadalajara is well paved and maintained and takes about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to drive from the periferico (Pheriperal road around Guadalajara). Driving from Guadalajara throught Ameca...turning left ate the Y (straight ahead is Mascota). At the top of the mountain you go throught a pass and there below is Talpa in its beautiful valley. There is no air service between Talpa and Guadalajara but numerous from Puerto Vallarta via las Palmas, le Estancia, and Mascota is being rebuilt and will be paved soon... the road from Mascota to Talpa is alredy well paved. When finishe one will be able to drive from Puerto Vallarta to Talpa in about 2 horas. Which will increase tourism greatly.
