The Hacienda capitalizes on every vista of the valley of Talpa de Allende. Its 3/4 hectaria compound is completely walled in by adobe, rock or brick walls, and construction. The are over 700 square meters of floor space in the main house, casita, basement under casita, garages, workshop and two stables. There are six bedrooms and seven baths in the main house. The casita has a bedrooms with bath and a combination living/kitchen.Also located within the same long building that angles away from the main house connected by a covered walkway are two garages, a workshop, and two stables.

The huge upstairs half-roofed terrace with wet bar will accomodate parties of up to 100 people. (we have had parties of over 300 people using the upstairs and downstairs terraces and corredors and lawn areas). Three bedrooms and three baths stretch out from the terrace...all opening on a 3 by 20 meter corredor. Downstairs, below the huge terrace are two bedrooms and two baths, a living room with library game room, and a screened in porch. Below the three upstairs bedroom, a separate shower room, a bathroom, a large storage room...then, a combination family room, dining area and a big kitchen (this combination itself measures 6 by 12 meters) and of course a 3 by 20 meter corredor. The family room also has television reception from a satellite dish.

The first and second story corredors offer great views bouganbillia flowering all the way to the top of the house. They overlook the rocked wall interior gardens, and beyond the rock wall is the swimming pool, It is a lap pool 17 meters long, 3 meters wide, and 1 + meters deep. At one end is a raised hot tub offering great night views of the lights of Talpa. The pool and hot tub each haver their own solar heater as well as an auxiliary gas heater for winter time.

The Ranch has 25 hectarias total with a 2 hectaria orchard of oranges, limes, and avocadores. Next to the orchard is a 1 hectaria lake stocked with bass and mojados (a fast growing perch type fish). It reaches a depth of 3 1/2 meters when full. Behind the main house is a small lake used mainly as an irrigation link. Water is pumped from a stream (it never runs dry) below the main house into the small lake...then another pump in the small lake irrigates the orchard. There is a deep well in the main compound. The 30 meter deep well with a submersible pump furnishes all the water needed for the Hacienda, pool, and irrigation for the main compound.

This property is ideal for an extended family and, naturally, it is great for a vacation resort. Two bedrooms with baths and individual terraces can easily be worked into the upper terrace. Also there is lots of room in the main compound to build more bedroom/bath units.

The ranch has many other possibilities that can be combined with tourism. 16 hectarias are ideal for planting Agave from which the famous Tequila is made. Another area below the main lake has the right kind or adobe clay and plenty of water for making brick. The orchard could be developed into a small exclusive gated community. The area around Talpa is becoming a fast expanding investment area.

This property is offered by the owners who live on the property and can be seen at any time...with or without appointment.
